01.Overview & Scope
Welcome to GeekyMemo Game Studio ("GeekyMemo", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you download, install, access, or play our games or applications across all supported platforms.
Our games and applications are distributed on multiple digital platforms, including PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), Cloud Gaming (NVIDIA GeForce NOW), Mobile (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), and Web browsers (collectively, the "Services").
02.Information We Collect
Depending on the platform you play on (PC, Console, Mobile, or Cloud Gaming) and the features active within a specific GeekyMemo title, we may process the following categories of data:
A. Platform Identifiers & Technical Data
- Platform Account IDs: SteamID, PlayStation Network (PSN) ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, Nintendo Network Account ID, Apple Game Center ID, or Google Play Games ID used for achievements and cloud save syncing.
- Device & OS Metrics: Operating system, hardware specification, graphics card model (PC), controller connection status, language settings, and general country location derived from IP address.
- Mobile Device Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) for ad-supported mobile games.
B. Game Telemetry & Voluntary Information
- Gameplay Data: Level progression, high scores, cloud save checkpoints, unlocked achievements, in-game inventory, and session telemetry.
- GeekyMemo Account (Optional): Registered email, chosen display name, and encrypted credentials if a game features cross-platform accounts or cloud saves.
- Support Requests: Email address and support logs sent when contacting technical support.
03.Platform Checkout & Game Purchases
Secure Platform Store Checkout
All purchases (game downloads, DLCs, season passes, virtual items, or memberships) are processed exclusively through official digital platform storefronts.
Zero Financial Storage: GeekyMemo does NOT collect, store, or process credit card, debit card, or banking numbers. All financial transactions are securely handled by Steam (Valve), PlayStation Network (Sony), Xbox (Microsoft), Nintendo, Apple, or Google.
We only receive encrypted purchase confirmation tokens from platform store APIs to grant your requested game license, DLC, or in-game entitlement.
04.Advertising Policy & Platform Differences
Our advertising policy varies depending on the gaming platform and game model:
100% Ad-Free Gaming
Games developed by GeekyMemo for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or NVIDIA GeForce NOW are premium titles and do NOT contain third-party banner or video ads, nor do they include ad-tracking SDKs.
Google AdMob Integration
Free-to-play mobile titles may display ads served by Google AdMob. Players retain full control to opt out of personalized tracking on their mobile device settings.
05.Analytics, Telemetry & Cloud Gaming
We use analytics and telemetry tools (such as Unity Analytics, Firebase, and platform crash diagnostic APIs) to monitor game stability, balance levels, measure framerates, and fix bugs.
Cloud Gaming (NVIDIA GeForce NOW): When streaming our titles via cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce NOW, game save data and session states are securely synced through your primary platform account (e.g., Steam Cloud, Epic Cloud). No stream video content is recorded or processed by GeekyMemo.
06.Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
GeekyMemo does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following circumstances:
- Cloud Infrastructure & Game Servers: Dedicated server hosts and cloud save databases operating under strict data confidentiality agreements.
- Platform Services: Platform SDKs (Steamworks, PSN SDK, Xbox Live SDK) required for leaderboards, achievements, and cross-play matchmaking.
- Legal Compliance: When mandated by law, court order, or regulatory authority to protect rights and safety.
07.Children's Privacy Protection (COPPA & GDPR-K)
GeekyMemo complies with global children's privacy standards (COPPA in the US and GDPR-K in Europe).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) without parental consent. If we discover that personal data of a child has been collected inadvertently, we will delete it immediately.
08.Security & Data Retention
We apply technical and organizational security controls, including encrypted network protocols (HTTPS/TLS) and strict server access permissions, to safeguard your player data.
Data is retained only as long as necessary to maintain active player accounts or provide game services. Inactive account data may be anonymized or purged periodically.
